About Elie and Zoey's

Elie and Zoey's is a bakery born to make thicc, chewy, decadent cookie bars. 

Why? Years ago, I'd given up baking in search of a perfectly Paleo life. And while I still generally eat that way, I was recently reminded how much I love the science and art of rolling up your sleeves and sorting out a recipe -- and then enjoying tasting it. 

Cookie bars are everything I love about cookies but a little more decadent and a little less prone to shipping mishaps. You can dress them up, dress them down, cut them up for a dessert platter or keep them for yourself.

Who's Elie? She's my four-legged best friend. Even though she's not allowed in the bakery and has yet to taste a single treat, she maintains top billing and insists on giving a virtual hello and tail wag to all of you.
